‘American Sniper’, ‘Birdman’, ‘Boyhood’, ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’, ‘The Imitation Game’, ‘Selma’, ‘The Theory of Everything’ e ‘Whiplash’ sono questi gli otto film che si contenderanno il premio Oscar per il miglior film. A guidare le nomination, annunciate oggi 15 gennaio 2015 a Los Angeles, sono ‘Birdman’ e ‘The Grand Budapest Hotel’ con 9 candidature ciascuno.
Le speranze italiane. Nonostante “Il capitale umano” di Virzì sia stato subito eliminato dalla corsa all’Oscar, l’Italia può ancora vincere l’ambita statuetta. Le speranze per il nostro Paese sono tutte riposte in Milena Canonero, già vincitrice tre volte degli Academy Awards, e candidata nella categoria Migliori Costumi per il film “The Grand Budapest Hotel” di Wes Anderson.
La cerimonia di consegna dei premi sarà il 22 febbraio 2015.
